It has been a busy two months. Here's a quick
synopsis of what has been happening.
On July 10th, my brother, Wayne Lee, was made
commander of the Utah Air National Guard. We
were privileged to attend his "Change of Command"
ceremony. Here he is with my dad.
July 10th was also Leslie's wedding day. I love
this picture since it shows the excitement that
we all felt. Here is Leslie getting an enthusiastic hug
from Richelle prior to the wedding. It was a beautiful
day and a beautiful ceremony. For more pictures
follow the links to Leslie's and Christi's blogs.
On July 22nd, we had an open house at our home.
With our family's help and Steve's family's help, we
actually got the house and everything ready for
our overnight guests as well as for those who came
for the open house. Thanks to everyone who helped!
We couldn't have done it without you. Here's a few
pictures.
Duane's log stair railing (which wasn't quite ready
for the open house--just finished this week.)
Landscaping started...
landscaping with grass, bark, and paving.
Unfortunately we were so busy we didn't as much
quality time with our grandsons as we would have
liked. But we did enjoy them and hope their next
visit allows us more time for play and fun. Here they
are sharing a wagon ride.
