Birthdays

Both Duane and I had our birthdays the first of
October. We had the best birthday present ever--
Karl, Christi, Easton, Jake, Richelle, and Lincoln
drove all the way up here to surprise us. We
had 3 wonderful days with them. We even had
birthday cake with candles and ice cream. It
brought us a great amount of joy.

We especially loved seeing, rocking, kissing, and
playing with our grandsons. The kids came out
to my work and I got to show them all off. Both
babies smiled at everyone and were adorable.
People told me repeatedly what cute, fun grandsons
I have. Of course, I didn't disagree.

The only thing that could have made it better would
have been if Leslie and Steve could have been here.
